Planning Guide for Refinancing
Please provide us with the following information:

1) Name of homeowner’s insurance company, agent name and contact information

2) Name of homeowner’s association and contact information

3) Name of existing lienholder, loan number and contact information

4) Social Security Numbers
-
5) Copy of current Owner’s Title Policy (if available)

6) Copy of current survey and verification that no improvements have been made since the date of the survey
PLANNING FOR CLOSING:
Please inform us when the loan has been approved and let us know if you have a preference as to the date and time of the closing.
Due to the three day right of rescission and FHA’s payoff requirements, please try to schedule your closings more than three days prior to the end of the month to ensure funding that month.
Please deliver closing instructions along with the original closing package at least 24 hours in advance of the closing. We understand there will be exceptions but want to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Please contact your closing officer prior to closing to determine the amount of the closing costs.
Certified checks, cashiers checks and wired funds are acceptable methods of payment for closing costs. The Texas Department of Insurance requires certified funds upon closing for any amount in excess of $1,499. Personal checks for amounts below $1,499 will be accepted by Reliant Title.
